Flynn comes to the rescue of Rapunzel

Maximus brought Eugene to Rapunzel's tower. Eugene jumped off his horse, ran up to the tower and shouted:  

–Rapunzel, throw off your hair!  

There was no answer and Eugene decided to get into the tower the same way as last time – by climbing the wall. But as soon as he began to climb, the sound of window shutters opening was heard from above, and then Rapunzel’s long golden hair fell out of the window. Eugene climbed up Rapunzel's hair to the window into the tower.  

Reaching the window, Eugene jumped inside and said loudly:  

–Rapunzel! I was afraid that I wouldn't find you!  

It was only then that he noticed that Rapunzel was shackled in chains wrapped around a post and her mouth was gagged. Rapunzel tried to say something to Eugene, but because of the gag it was impossible to understand what she was saying, and the only understandable word she said was: “Eugene! ”  

Eugene, without thinking twice, ran up to his friend and tried to remove her chains, but they turned out to be strong and heavy. Then Eugene removed the gag from Rapunzel’s mouth and asked her:  

–Rapunzel, what happened? Who are you like that?!  

–EUGENE, CAUTION!!! BEHIND!!!!!!- Rapunzel shouted.  

Eugene turned around and saw Gothel, who tried to stab him. Fortunately, he managed to dodge and jumped away from the crazy woman to the side. The woman tried to stab him again, but Eugene again managed to dodge her.  

–How disgusting you are! – Rapunzel turned to Gothel. “I can’t believe that I was raised by a stranger all my life! ”  

–Rapunzel, stop arguing with me! – Gothel exclaimed dissatisfied.  

–No, I won’t stop! All your life you lied to me that the world is greedy, evil and cruel, so that I would not go anywhere!  

–Because if you leave, you will be in trouble!  

“There’s no problem, you yourself invented this whole evil world! ” And I'll leave! I'll leave anyway! My real parents are waiting for me – the king and queen of Corona!  

–No, honey! – Gothel said. – We will always be together, I will never let you go to them! I care about you!  

–About me? Or about your youth?! – Rapunzel asked her. – I’m sure that you have never loved and never love anyone except yourself!  

In fact, Rapunzel started this conversation in order to lull Gothel's vigilance, because she was talking to her and was no longer paying attention to Eugene. And suddenly Eugene grabbed Gothel tightly by the hand. Gothel tried to break free as she did with Rapunzel, but Eugene was stronger and dragged her to the window. Gothel was still able to escape Eugene's grip, but she stumbled and fell out of the window. Soon her falling scream was heard from below, and then everything became silent.  

Eugene immediately ran up to Rapunzel and broke the chains with Gothel's dagger, freeing her, after which he carefully took Rapunzel in his arms and went down through the secret passage that Gothel had prepared in advance.  

To their surprise, Gothel's body was not on the ground. Only her dusty cloak lay near the walls of the tower.  

–She's missing! – Rapunzel was surprised.  

–No. She died, but it seems her body turned to dust, which is what she is!  

Suddenly Rapunzel's hair turned black and became short, but Rapunzel herself was not surprised by this.  

Then Eugene called out to Maximus and a second later a white horse appeared near them. Eugene first threw Rapunzel onto the horse, and then sat down himself.  

–Home? – asked Rapunzel.  

–Certainly! – Fitzherbert smiled.
