1 + 1 = 1
Why 1 + 1 = 11?
Because when we add numbers, we actually connect them.
Therefore, when I add, i. e., connect, the number 1 to the number 1, the number 11 is obtained.
When I add $1, 000, 000 (million dollars) to $1000 (one thousand dollars), it turns out $1, 000. 000. 000 (one billion dollars).
Why 1 – 1 = 1 and 1, and not 0 (zero)?
Because 0(zero) will not be obtained by reducing 1 from 1, which is absurd, but by destroying both of these numbers.
For the same reason, 9-5 = 9 and 5, not 4. In order to get 4, we do not need to take 5 out of 9, but destroy 5 units in the number 9.
Why 10:2 = 0. 50?
Because we have to halve first 1 and then 0.
